A Tauranga bus line is among the latest places of interest linked to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Bus stop 72B in the central business district of Tauranga and stand B on Otumoetai Rd and Lydbrook Place between 6:37 p.m. and 6:49 p.m. last Wednesday was added to the official list of the Ministry of Health on Tuesday afternoon.

The location was considered a close contact event.

People on the bus during this time are asked to self-isolate, test themselves immediately and again on the fifth day after being exposed. Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health, the ministry said.

Earlier, a Taco Bell in Rotorua and a Nepalese restaurant in Auckland were added to the list.

Taco Bell Fairy Springs in Rotorua has been listed as a close contact. Customers who dined on Thursday, February 3 between 7 and 7:30 p.m. are also asked to self-isolate, test themselves immediately and again on the 5th day after exposure.

The Gorkha Eastern Beach restaurant in Auckland was listed as a close contact on six different days between January 28 and February 2.

Anyone who has visited the restaurant during these days is asked to self-isolate and get tested.

The lists below can be viewed in two ways: Date of visit (slots added today have the word NEW next to them) or, if you flip the toggle to date includednewly added locations appear at the top of the list.

If you were at a place of interest at any of the specified times, you may be required to self-isolate and be tested. Follow the instructions for that location on the Ministry of Health website and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice on testing.
