Karene Tropen joins ChowNow as Marketing Director

Tropen will lead ChowNow’s brand, design, growth, product marketing and communications teams. His appointment comes as the company expands the consumer side of its business, creating and launching products for diners alongside the tools and technology it provides to restaurants.

Tropen has spent his career building audiences for world-class brands, particularly in the entertainment streaming industry. She has held senior marketing roles at Disney+, Netflix, HBO, NBCUniversal, and most recently at Medium, where she was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Content. While at Medium, Tropen executed a successful rebranding and led marketing and content strategies to drive the growth of the company’s dual ecosystem of readers and writers.
