SEC Chairman Gary Gensler appointed several senior officials to advise on matters referred to the Commission. The following people will join the Chair Gensler staff:
- Prashant Yerramalli as Chief of Staff, who had held the same position for Acting President Allison Herren Lee;
- Heather Slavkin Corzo as policy director, who had been director of capital markets policy at the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industry Organizations, U.S. policy chief at Principles for Responsible Investment and Senior Fellow at Americans for Financial Reform;
- Kevin R. Burris as Advisor to the President and Director of the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, who had served as Director of the US House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations; and
- Scott E. Schneider as Advisor to the President and Director of the Office of Public Affairs, who was previously the Managing Director of Financial Communications at global consulting firm Ketchum and previously Director of Public Affairs for the CFTC.
